Barcelona captain Carles Puyol is set to return for today's match against Levante.
Puyol has been sidelined for three months since rupturing knee ligaments in an end-of-season friendly in South Africa, but is now ready to return and should go straight into the side to replace Mexico defender Rafael Marquez.
Marquez looked comfortable alongside Gabriel Milito in Barca's new-look defence and also scored his side's fourth goal in Wednesday's 4-1 win over Real Zaragoza.
However, the Mexico captain is carrying an Achilles problem and will be rested to avoid the risk of injury.
