PSV Eindhoven coach Dick Advocaat is in the frame for the Reading job.
Reading are in search for a new manager following the sacking of Brian McDermott.
The Telegraph says Advocaat is believed to have a good relationship with Anton Zingarevich after a three-year spell with Zenit St Petersburg, the team supported by Reading's Russian billionaire owner.
