PSG striker Julian Draxler admits he came close to joining Arsenal in the past.

The attacker signed for PSG last month from Wolfsburg, though had been a long-term target for the Gunners.

"Of course I had several options this winter. There were several clubs," Draxler said.

"The interest of Arsenal? It was two or three years ago, but I had no contact with them this winter."

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp also held talks with Draxler last month, but pulled out of the deal over personal demands.
