PSG president Al-Khelaifi discussing Klopp move with Henrique

PSG directors have raised the prospect of moving for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season.

Le Parisien says PSG are actively seeking to land a replacement for coach Unai Emery, who will be pushed out at the end of this season after failure in the Champions League. The former Sevilla coach will pay with his job for their dismal defeat to Real Madrid.

Several names have been discussed at the Parc des Princes in recent weeks, with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sports director Antero Henrique working through a shortlist.

And Klopp has been considered in recent days as they seek an experienced coach capable of success in European football. However, it's also been acknowledged that it would take a world record compensation offer to prise the German away from Anfield, with his contract running to 2022.
