Premiership clubs are queuing for Newcastle United striker Michael Owen.

The People says Everton, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Chelsea are all chasing the England international.

It is understood Owen is prepared to take a wage cut but won't settle for much less than £75,000 a week.

Ideally, Owen wants to move next month and wants to be back in the north-west to help run his £3m racing stables.
