American striker Fabrice-Jean 'Fafa' Picault has started well with Italian club Cagliari's youth side.
The 18-year old Haitian product of Miami has appeared in both of Cagliari's youth team matches this season, netting once (in the 3-1 loss to Empoli) and providing the match-winning assist after coming on as a sub against Torino.
Picault said he is happy with Cagliari and plans to further his development on the island of Sardinia.
"I'm a city boy, but I am able to enjoy the calmness of this island," he told Soccer365.
"The people are very passionate about life and soccer of course. The food is also very good in Sardinia and I have been able to enjoy a few 'home-sardo' dishes.
"I am here on a mission and to accomplish my dreams so everything else comes after."
