Philippe Coutinho has given another indication he only wants to stay with Liverpool after being named the 5Times Player of the Year.
The Brazilian attacker was the guest of honour at the Liverpool Former Players Association gala dinner at the Hilton.
“I just want to say thank-you to everyone," Coutinho said.
“I am really proud to be voted for this award by Liverpool's former players.
“I know they won a lot of things with this club and I hope that one day I can do the same."
Coutinho was presented the trophy by John Aldridge.
The Reds legend said: “He's a genius. I hope he stays with Liverpool and we get back to where we should be – winning trophies.
“You win trophies when you've got players of that calibre."
