Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini says they go to Barcelona "to attack".

Pellegrini will lead Real in his first El Clasico tonight at the Nou Camp.

He said: "We go to the Nou Camp to attack. Let's play with our big guns, which are different from Barcelona but as good as theirs.

"Pep Guardiola's team plays very good football and has great quality, but is not superior to us."

On Cristiano Ronaldo's availability, Pellegrini added: "We have a definite time organised to play with Cristiano at the Nou Camp. We'll see how long for. The Portuguese player is irreplaceable."
