Morten Gamst Pedersen hopes Blackburn Rovers can keep their squad together.

Pedersen, who has spent more than seven years at Ewood Park, insists this torrid season could yet have happy ending.

He said: "We have to keep our best players. Every one of them is a Blackburn player at the moment and we have to hold on to them.

"We had most of our players today and we did well - we got a fantastic win and got ourselves out of the bottom three, which is a great feeling."
