Crystal Palace have joined the battle for Real Madrid striker Javier Acuna.

The Daily Mail says Palace have joined Middlesbrough in the chase for Acuna but need to win promotion to land the Paraguayan.

Acuna, 24, is a target for Bolton and Middlesbrough after scoring 13 goals on loan at Girona. He is a free agent in the summer and is keen on England but with Palace unable to match rivals for wages they will have to offer him top-flight football.
