Gabriel Obertan admits he's stuck close to Ryan Giggs since arriving at Manchester United.

The former Bordeaux winger made his Premiership debut in victory on Saturday against Blackburn Rovers.

Obertan said: "When I joined United I asked Ryan Giggs to give me any advice and he has done.

"You can feel a real difference between training here and in France. The sessions are shorter, though much more intense, but I've improved.

"There is far greater speed and commitment and the blows rain in on me at times - even though I fully accept it is all done in the right spirit."
