New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Greg Sutton says he is not worried that the club is looking to bring in keeping reinforcements this summer.
The 34-year old Canadian has been trading blows with Senegal international Bouna Coundoul as the club went 11 matches without a clean sheet, prompting general manager Erik Soler to look to the transfer market.
Whilst there is still talk about bringing in a new keeper, Sutton says it is out of his control and that he is not thinking about these sorts of things.
"You can't worry about that stuff. That stuff, a lot of it is hearsay; a lot of it may be true," he said.
"But whatever, it's nothing I can control. I don't get my head wrapped around that stuff.
"That stuff goes around every year. Every different club has those kind of problems (or) issues at times.
"You just have to go ahead and do your business and whatever happens, happens."
