Former West Ham captain Kevin Nolan is delighted to be back as coach.
The 37-year-old spent five years with the Hammers as a player, leading them to promotion in 2012 and playing a central role as they established themselves back in the top flight.
“It feels incredible to be back," he told the club's website. “I'm delighted, proud and just really looking forward to the rest of the season.
“I can't wait to get stuck into it. The gaffer has been absolutely fantastic, getting me right involved straight away - 24 hours later it's all hands to the deck and let's look forward hopefully to what's going to be a good weekend."
