Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew insists Papiss Cisse will not leave on the cheap.
Pardew says rivals eyeing the striker know that owner Mike Ashley drives a hard bargain.
Cisse has been linked with Championship promotion chasers QPR in a deal which could see on-loan Hoops hitman Loic Remy heading to Tyneside permanently.
Pardew said: "I am sure, come January, a lot of teams will be looking at our situation - but they'd have to spend a lot of money."
