Newcastle United winger Gabriel Obertan is happy playing for manager Alan Pardew.
Obertan was left in the cold for long periods at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson and, while he does not regret his Old Trafford experience, he is glad to be working under Pardew as he bids to relaunch his career on Tyneside.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "He is a great boss because he is close to his players.
"He talks a lot to us, and he's good at managing egos in a team.
"It is great to have a coach like this."
