Newcastle United's Senegalese ace Papiss Cisse is delighted to be the latest African ace lighting up the Premier League.
Cisse has struck 11 goals since his January arrival from Freiburg.
"The Premier League is the best league in the world, along with that in Spain. It was always a dream of mine to play in English football," he said.
"When I was a child I used to imagine what it would be like to play in England.
"African players have been successful in the Premier League and I hope to have become another success story.
"I don't know why African players have been so successful here. Maybe it has something to do with the physical nature of the Premier League. I like England as a country. Since I moved here in January I have been exploring and discovering new places and enjoying the countryside."
