Newcastle United striker Obafemi Martins hopes the mooted shift to German champions Wolfsburg goes ahead.
The Nigerian, who has also been linked with Arsenal, believes the Bundesliga will become the best league in the world and is keen to be a part of it with Wolfsburg.
"The Bundesliga will soon be the best league in the world," he said in the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung.
"Therefore Wolfsburg excites me. I hope the transfer happens."
