Recently signed Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios hopes to become a first team regular as soon as possible. He told the Sunday Mirror, "It has not been an easy decision to leave Wigan, but the offer from Tottenham was good for all parties.
"Spurs have a great history and this will improve my international ambitions. I am going to give everything for the club, but I know it won't be easy to get a regular place in the starting XI.
"People have told me the manager was determined to sign me and he likes what I do on the pitch. I want to repay him by giving everything to Tottenham.
"I don't believe I will have any problems adapting to my new club because things are very similar in terms of how we work."
