Napoli president De Laurentiis full of praise for Mazzarri

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is full of praise for coach Walter Mazzarri.

The Azzurri are unbeaten in Serie A since his arrival on October 6 and currently lie fourth in the table after 21 games.

De Laurentiis said: “Walter is the Coach that I wanted him, even two years ago. I have hired him late, but I know that we will enjoy many satisfactions together.

“He is the right man with whom to begin my second five-year plan at Napoli's helm. Walter started with a simple idea for his first games in charge, but then he offered every one of our players the chance to make the best of their talent. He is humble.

“Take Gianluca Grava as an example. He has the capacity to interpret his own role and shows a professionalism that allows him to face up to his own limits: for example, his age, or not being able to play at the very highest level. Now he's in tremendous condition.”
