Napoli coach Rafa Benitez is chasing Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.

The Sun says Benitez has Manchester City hitman Dzeko, 27, on his radar, along with Fiorentina's Steven Jovetic, 23.

If City do sell, they would look to recoup most of the £27m they paid Wolfsburg for Dzeko in 2011. Former City boss Roberto Mancini reckons Dzeko would shine in Italy.

He said: "If Napoli take Dzeko, they would be safe.

"They would get a great striker who gets 25 a season and only has one defect - that he wants to play in every game."
