Moyes admits Man Utd performance had him nervous

Manchester United boss David Moyes admits he was nervous during their 1-0 victory over Champions League opponents Real Sociedad.

Just as against Southampton on Saturday, United wasted a host of chances.

Rooney was culpable on three occasions, Antonio Valencia hit a post and Shinji Kagawa failed to snap up two decent chances.

It left United vulnerable. Unlike the weekend, this time they got away with it as Antoine Griezmann and Alberto de la Bella both hit the woodwork.

"I still had the feeling of Saturday left inside me and while it was 1-0, you know you can always lose a goal at a corner or free kick," said Moyes.

"We do need to get more ruthless.

"It is OK saying we are unlucky but the job is to score and get them in the net.

"It's not just falling to one person. We all have to take responsibility. We have got to score more.

"It will make my job more easier and for the players as well.

"We would be able to relax and play without that same anxiety."
