Everton duo John Ruddy and Lukas Jutkiewicz have both extended their loan deals at Motherwell for another month. Motherwell general manager Leeann Dempster said: "This extension gives us a little bit more time to get things sorted with Everton.

"We are very keen to keep both players but with the January transfer window promising to be busy for both clubs, this gives us a safety net to ensure the guys can play in our vital matches this month.

"John and Lukas have done exceptionally well for us in the first half of the season and they both enjoy it at the club.

"It's now a case of thrashing out a deal with Everton that works for both parties."

Meanwhile, French defender Yassin Moutaoaukil has returned to Charlton Athletic after three-and-a-half months at Fir Park.
