Saturday was a very strange day for Montreal Impact striker Bernardo Corradi.
The Italian scored his first MLS goal on the weekend since joining the Impact in March with the team losing 2-1 to FC Dallas in Frisco.
Earlier in the day, Corradi learnt that good friend and former Reggina teammate Piermario Morosini had died after suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch during an Italian Serie B game whilst playing for Livorno against Pescara.
Corradi was devastated after the match and there were no time for celebrations as he embraced head coach Jesse Marsch in a subdued manner after scoring from the penalty spot in the 61st minute.
"It was a strange day for me because I lost one of my friends," Corradi told MLSSoccer.com.
