Mexican medical experts back Man Utd treatment for Chicharito

Mexican medical experts have backed their Manchester United counterparts over the handling of Javier Hernandez's concussion suffered on tour of the USA.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson announced this week that Chicharito would not be considered for selection until the end of the month due to his head trauma.

Since the training ground injury, Chivas doctors have revealed Chicharito suffered from headaches as a junior.

But Dr Jose Humberto Anaya, a local Guadalajara neurosurgeon, says the four-week break is sufficient for the player to recover.

Dr. Anaya added that "if the player had a problem on the head, doctors would have detected it before the club signed him. Any review by the club would uncover any condition."
