Adam Matthews has been buoyed by Celtic's first home victory in the Scottish Premier League since early October.
The Hoops arrested a winless run of three league matches at Celtic Park with a 2-0 victory over St Mirren on the weekend and full-back Matthews is hoping that can be the start of another mean streak in Glasgow as they look to defend their domestic title.
"I think we played better than we normally have done at home this season," the Welshman told Celtic TV's Huddle Online.
"Teams come here and make it difficult for us and so far we haven't been able to break them down.
"But we showed we could do it against a good team and hopefully we can get a run going at home now.
"We have got a game in hand and if we win that we go seven points clear. That's a healthy gap so hopefully we can get a run going and build that gap."
