Roberto Mancini is not in talks with Portsmouth as the former Inter Milan boss has set his sights on managing a team with top four credentials, claims his agent Maurizio De Giorgis. De Giorgis told Goal.com about Mancini's aims to coach in England, but said he wants to do it with a team who has the plans and ambitions to break into the top four.

"Portsmouth? There is nothing true. There is absolutely no deal in place with Portsmouth or other teams.

"If a club calls us, then we will make evaluations, but there has not been any contact from any English team, therefore it's speculation, I can assure you this.

"Of course, Mancini would like to coach in the Premier League and we have never hidden that fact.

"However, he would like to join an English team who has a project and perspective in place. A team who has good plans for the future and who is able to break into the top four, if not a top four club itself."
