Man Utd's Nani: Ferguson hasn't warned me off somersaults

Nani is delighted with his first weeks at Manchester United - and has denied reports he's been warned off his somersault goal celebrations.

The Portugal international winger said: "It's not true. Mr (Sir Alex) Ferguson hasn't said anything to me and I will continue to celebrate my goals in my usual way.

"The chats I've had with him are normal, as he has with the other players."

Nani is delighted with the way he has adjusted to the Premiership: "I thought it would be difficult, but I feel I'm doing well and playing well. The biggest difference is they demand more tackling here and to be always available for the ball. You cannot rest."

The former Sporting Lisbon ace also revealed: "Cristiano Ronaldo has been fantastic in his support that he gives me. He is a friend, who has looked after me on and off the pitch."

On former Porto midfielder Anderson, Nani added: "Anderson is training well. He hasn't played yet, but I'm sure his time will soon come."
