Man Utd's Evans: I've copped Fergie hairdryer

Manchester United defender Jonny Evans says he's copped Sir Alex Ferguson's hairdryer.

"Everyone has been shouted at at some stage and I'm no different," he admitted to the Belfast Telegraph.

"Sir Alex has got that aura about him. I wouldn't say that when he walks in everyone shuts up but they've definitely got respect for him.

"What he says goes - it's as simple as that. If you have done well he will say, 'Well done', but that's as far as it goes.

"Managers always like to keep players on their toes so he's not going to give you that much praise."

One of his biggest challenges is dealing with the stress of playing in the Premier League.

"The pressure is the big thing. Especially at Man United - I think there is more pressure there than anywhere else," he said.

"You have to be at the top of your game. Sometimes it is hard motivating yourself but you are at the biggest club in the world - it should be an honour."
