The agent of Alexander Buttner says his client is keen to be loaned out this winter.
The left-back is struggling for game time at Manchester United and is determined to play regular minutes as he strives to make Holland's World Cup squad.
"He wants to play in the World Cup and wants more playing time," his representative Alexander Bursac told an Italian paper.
"I hope they (Manchester United) are willing to loan him out."
It is believed that AS Roma are showing considerable interest in the 24-year old former Vitesse Arnhem ace.
