Feyenoord star Jordy Clasie has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, it has emerged.

Clasie, a diminutive box-to-box midfielder, knows United manager Louis van Gaal from his time spent playing in the Dutch national team, where the Red Devils boss was previously manager.

Van Gaal has previously identified a holding midfielder as a position to fill in the transfer window and according to Voetbal International, Southampton and Aston Villa target Clasie has emerged on the Old Trafford radar.
