Manchester United legends David Beckham and Phil Neville are embroiled in a cheating scandal with Inter Miami.

Beckham is the face of the club's ownership group, while Neville is currently the club's head coach.

The newly created MLS club finished 10th in the Eastern Conference in 2020, and have not begun the 2021 season as well as they would have hoped.

That is despite having stars such as Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi.

The MLS investigated Inter Miami in March regarding a rules breach when they signed Matuidi.

They were subsequently found guilty of breaking roster designation rules and fined $2 million.

The team also wrongly categorized ex-defender Andres Reyes and underreported salaries for several players, including Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, Nicolas Figal and Julian Carranza.
