Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to keep Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian until January.

The pair were both expected to leave Old Trafford before the end of August.

However, The Mirror claim Mourinho has changed his mind and would like both players to remain in his squad.

The Red Devils only bought one defender, Diogo Dalot, this summer and Mourinho needs reinforcements in case of injuries or suspensions.

Darmian, who is supposedly keen on a move to Italy, started in United's 2-1 win over Leicester City last Friday.
