Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has emerged as a priority target for Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
The Sunday Express says Mourinho plans a £40 million move for Oblak as he lines up David De Gea's replacement.
De Gea days at Old Trafford appear to be numbered with Real Madrid finally set to snare a player that they have targeted for the last two years.
Slovenian international Oblak, 24, has developed into one of the best keepers in the world and Mourinho knows he will need a top class replacement for De Gea.
United have had him watched on a regular basis as they admit defeat in their attempts to keep Spanish star De Gea from signing for The Galacticos.
Atletico would like to see Oblak stay but a hefty profit on the £12.6m that they paid for him three years ago will ease the pain of seeing him leave.
