Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson remains keen on Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.
The People says Ferguson pursued the 28-year-old attacker - rated at £20million by his club - last summer but thought he'd been beaten to Fabiano by AC Milan.
But the deal collapsed with Milan suddenly switching interest from Fabiano to snatch up Klaus Jan Huntelaar from Real Madrid.
That left Fabiano devastated - but Fergie is back on his trail with United scouts again being dispatched to keep tabs on the Brazilian this season.
