Man City's Richards fears for England chances under Redknapp

Manchester City defender Micah Richards fears for his England future if Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp gets the job.

Richards knows he'll have to convince Redknapp should the Tottenham boss be in charge of the Three Lions this summer.

He said: "I don't think there was any way I would have gone to the Euros under Capello, but who knows now? Hey, I might still not get in the squad but at least there's hope.

"Mind you, if Harry Redknapp gets the job I might be in trouble again. He's Kyle Walker's manager at Spurs and also had Glen Johnson when he was at Portsmouth.

"It's nice to be involved again, though, especially with Stuart Pearce being in charge. He gave me my City debut when I was very young so I'll always be grateful to him for the faith he showed in me."
