Crocked Manchester City defender Micah Richards refuses to write off his season.

The defender, 19, has been recovering from knee surgery and it was feared he would miss the rest of the campaign.

But he is anxious to get back into the England reckoning and has targeted the home clash with the USA on May 28.

A source close to Richards told The Sun: "Micah could be playing in 10 days. He is happy how the injury is progressing."
