Manchester City veteran Patrick Vieira has opened the door to a move to MLS in 2011. The Frenchman comes off contract at City in June and speaking with Orange Sport, admits he fancies joining former Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry in the US.

Indeed, Vieira is keen to sign for New York Red Bulls and play alongside his close friend.

New York do now have a Designated Player slot free after the departure of former Aston Villa star Juan Pablo Angel at the end of the season.
