The Daily Star says Balotelli has been fined £300,000 by Manchester City for his crazy kung-fu red card challenge on Dynamo Kiev's Goran Popov.
Balotelli, 20, met his angry boss Roberto Mancini yesterday to be handed a punishment of two weeks' wages.
The stroppy Italian international travelled to London with the rest of the City squad for today's clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge but is not likely to start.
