Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has split from his wife Giannina.

Giannina is the youngest daughter of World Cup legend Diego Maradona.

She is believed to be now living ­permanently in Madrid with their son Benjamin, three.

Giannina, 23, confirmed the break-up on Twitter.

She said "we're separated" and added it was "a difficult year" and "there's been a lot of changes".
