Man City's Robinho impresses as Brazil defeat Republic of Ireland

Manchester City's Robinho was on fire as Brazil defeated the Republic of Ireland 2-0 in an international friendly at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

Robinho, who is currently on loan at Brazilian club Santos, set up the first goal before scoring one of his own to give the Samba kings a comfortable but lucky win.

The first goal came when Robinho found space down the right side of the penalty area before pulling a pass back across goal which, unfortunately for Ireland, was deflected in by Keith Andrews in the 44th minute.

With 14 minutes remaining, Robinho reminded us all of his scoring ability when he slotted home after good lead-up play from Kaka and Grafite.
