Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini believes referee Mike Jones got one thing right in his side's 2-0 win at Newcastle United on Sunday.
The Chilean is of the belief that City were not treated well during the St James' Park clash but felt that the match official got it right when ruling out Cheick Tiote's brilliant goal from distance in the first half because of interference from Yoan Gouffran who was offside.
"We did not have any help from the referee today. He didn't give a goal because it was absolutely offside, that is the only clear thing about which Newcastle can complain - but it was offside," Pellegrini told Sky Sports.
"Of course it was absolutely offside."
Edin Dzeko scored an early goal for City before Alvaro Negredo added a second deep into injury-time as the Eastlands outfit returned to the top of the Premier League table.
