Mateo Kovacic is enjoying his first season with Manchester City.
The Croatia midfielder left for Chelsea for City last summer.
He said: "I am happy and happy to have had the opportunity to choose Manchester City for the most important stage of my career.
"I didn't think about it for a single moment. And when I got to City, I realised that here no one is burdened by what they have won, no one relaxes and is not even satisfied with the historic Treble."
On manager Pep Guardiola, Kovacic said: "All the things I had heard before about Guardiola I experienced firsthand and it was 10 times better. Everything he told me and announced before my arrival happened. No less, no more I'm really impressed: I think the simplicity of his considerations is largely the cause of his success.
"Guardiola is meticulous, he always has a plan B or C to implement if plan A doesn't work. That's why we adapt quickly to the situation on the pitch, because we always have a solution for emergency situations during the match.
"Guardiola foresees everything, he is the coach who impressed me the most and I understand why many consider him the best coach in the world, perhaps in the history of football."
