Manchester City coach Brian Kidd expects the derby against Manchester United to be a "cracker".
Kidd and Carlos Tevez are returning to Old Trafford for the big game.
Kidd said: "You would rather have it like that as it shows you are doing something right. The more success you have the more games you are going to get.
"The derby is well set up. Form goes out the window. We've had some great games recently. It will be a cracker."
Kidd, however, has played down City's chances of claiming the crown.
He added: "It is still a work in progress for us. We want to get into the top four. That has been our aim since the start of the season. We are not straying from that."
