Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is facing a four-match ban after his red card against Manchester United yesterday.

City will appeal the decision but if they don't succeed in overturning the verdict, their captain will miss several key matches after his controversial red card against Manchester United in the FA Cup.

On Twitter, Kompany later posted: "The fans, the players and every single person involved with Man City FC were incredible today. Definitely the moral winners of this game."
