Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has given Emmanuel Adebayor the green light to leave in January.

Adebayor has been frozen out by Mancini and is desperate to join Juventus after failing to claim a regular place at City.

"At this moment we have 10 games between now and January 5, when we play Arsenal," said Mancini.

"All of our players must think about their job. When they play, they must play well, and when they train, they must train hard.

"At this moment there is no chance for any player to leave this club. This situation can change in January though.

"No player is happy when he doesn't play, but we can only play with 11 players in any game.

"This player [Adebayor] must concentrate on the games between now and January. I think all players will play at some stage, then we will see what happens."
