Manchester City manager Mark Hughes did not say much when quizzed on whether or not the club would pursue Manchester United's Carlos Tevez. The Argentine striker's loan contract ends at the end of the season and it looks likely he will exit Old Trafford and whispers of a move to City continue to circulate but Hughes gave no insight into the rumours.
"He was a thorn in our side [on Sunday]," said Hughes of Tevez who scored in the Red Devils 2-0 win over City.
"I thought he played exceptionally well and he scored with an exceptional strike.
"I've read the reports about his situation but I don't want to comment on a United player."
