Luton Town star Ross Barkley is helping to evolve the minnows into a Premier League outfit.

The newly promoted side struggled early in the campaign, but have seen their fortunes improve in recent weeks.

Barkley, a free agent signing, has been responsible for the uptick in form, especially in midfield.

Luton coach Rob Edwards stated recently: “He was great and we love him. He wasn't perfect, there were still one or two more things I want from him - and he knows - but he's a huge part of us being able to evolve and change.

“Since he's been back in the team and consistently fit, we can take the ball more and have more control.

“We can work on other things I wasn't necessarily able to do before. He's a really important player for us."
