Lazio president Claudio Lotito is delighted by the commitment shown by new signings Djibril Cisse and Miroslav Klose.

Klose was a free agent after his contract expired with Bayern Munich, while Cissè rejected Premier League proposals to move from Panathinaikos.

Said Lotito: "I appreciated Klose's moral qualities, as he is a very professional figure who will give this team a step up in quality.

"I have to thank Cissè, as he had other offers, but firmly wanted to join Lazio. He wishes to prove his worth in Serie A after recovering from two very serious injuries. He has great strength of character.
