Liverpool striker Danny Sturridge admits he's a bad loser.

The Reds lost 3-1 at Southampton yesterday.

"I am horrible in defeat!" he told liverpoolfc.com. "I'm gracious in defeat when I leave the field but I hate losing so much.

"Actually, I'm probably not always gracious - that was probably a bit of a lie!

"It's dependant on the day. I can be terrible but I'm not one to point fingers at people, I'm just more frustrated in myself and with not helping the team win the game.

"Hopefully I don't have to talk about this too often and we can keep winning games between now and the end of the season and we're talking about a future with a lot of success."
