Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has responded to criticism made by Sir Alex Ferguson in his new autobiography.
The former Manchester United manager angered Reds boss Brendan Rodgers with comments in his autobiography about Henderson's gait.
"I didn't expect it," Henderson told the Liverpool Echo.
"I have just tried to focus on my game and not really thought about it.
"I have a lot of respect for him, he's an unbelievable figure in football, but hopefully he isn't right and I won't have too many problems later in my career.
"It was quite unusual but I haven't read the whole thing. I know he's spoken about my running technique and I'll have to read it properly at some point. It doesn't bother me too much."
